Cat Invasion Events

Cat Invasion events are whatever the Roblox experience page actually names. As of September 2026 the named event players keep seeing is Golden Weekend, advertised as x2 Gold. This page documents that event and how to use it. It does not invent a Floppa Festival, a Bongo Cat hour, or a fake battle pass.

If the live page shows a new named event later, add a section. Until then, Golden Weekend is the whole calendar.

Golden Weekend — x2 Gold

Gold is the meta currency. It buys longer progress such as classes. Coins still run the in-wave shop. Golden Weekend does not double your snowball upgrades. It doubles the wallet you take out of the run and out of idle.

When the event tile is up:

1. Redeem working codes first so any Gold gift lands before or during the window, not after you forget.
2. Play Invasion if you also want badges and coin practice. You will still need range and armor; the event does not dodge Floppa.
3. Sit in the AFK ZONE if your goal is Gold per minute and you already know your loadout.
4. If you own Double Gold (149 Robux), this is the weekend you should have been saving the pass for. Read gamepasses before you buy it mid-event in a panic.

x2 Gold is a multiplier on a currency you still have to earn. A weekend you spend only in the shop menu looking at VIP is a wasted tile.

How to stack without inventing extra rules

We can document three real Gold sources that exist outside the event:

• Codes. Visit and group-member milestones have paid 250 Gold each when they are live. That is free. It is not an event, but you should redeem during the same login as Golden Weekend so you do not do two sessions for one wallet.
• Double Gold pass. 149 Robux. Always on, strongest when the event is also on.
• Gameplay and AFK ZONE. Invasion pays Gold for playing. AFK ZONE exists so you can idle. The event multiplies those, which is why a long weekend session beats a random Tuesday more than a new sword would.

We will not claim a secret fourth multiplier. If a YouTube title stacks five made-up bonuses, ignore it.

What Golden Weekend is not

It is not a new class. Alchemist is still the day-7 daily. Medic and Ninja are still Gold or grind decisions you can make any day.

It is not a new weapon. Sword, pillow, baguette, tuna, snowball-to-rock, bow, and laser cannon do not change because the tile is gold-colored. Spend coins with the upgrade planner the same way.

It is not a badge multiplier. Wave and boss badges still require the waves. You can use the extra Gold to buy a class that makes those waves easier. That is the honest link, not a hidden drop rate.

It is not pay-to-win. Free players get x2 Gold too. The pass adds another double on top. Codes remain the F2P Gold dump.

A Golden Weekend checklist

Before the tile goes live (or as soon as you notice it):

1. Open the official Cat Invasion page and confirm the event name is still Golden Weekend. If OneBed Studio renamed it, trust the page, not this paragraph.
2. Redeem codes.
3. Decide class in the lobby: Medic for groups, Ninja for grind, Alchemist if day 7 is done, default combat role otherwise.
4. If you will spend Robux at all this month, Double Gold is the event-timed pass. Turret limit is a late-wave pass. Do not buy VIP because the tile is shiny.
5. Play Invasion for at least one honest run so the extra Gold is attached to a real wave, then AFK if you are done fighting.
6. Spend Gold on the class you already planned, not on panic shopping.

After the weekend, stop playing as if x2 is still up. Your tier list did not change. Your coin order did not change. Only the Gold pace changed.

How this page will stay honest

The updates hub exists because the game launched 25 December 2025 and was still patched in September 2026. Recurring Golden Weekend is part of that live service. Recurring does not mean we add extra event names to look busy.
