Classes

Cat Invasion classes are named kits you equip in the lobby before an Invasion run. This page documents Medic, Ninja, and Alchemist plus the unnamed starter combat role. We do not add extra class names from comment jokes or from other Roblox games. If the lobby later ships a new named class, this page should gain a section, not a rumor.

For letters, use the class tier list. For click-by-click unlocks, use the class unlock guide. For whether Robux is involved, it is not: classes are Gold or daily rewards, while gamepasses sit on a different shelf.

Default combat role

You can fight on day one without a named class. That kit still uses the same melee and range trees as everyone else. Treat it as a combat role, not a secret fourth class. It is the right choice when Gold is empty, when you have not finished the Alchemist daily, and when you are still learning pause-to-upgrade.

Leave the default role when a named kit solves a real problem: revive for a group, a grind class you actually want to main, or Alchemist after day 7. Do not leave it because a thumbnail said you were trolling by existing.

Medic — revive

Medic is the group class. The job is revive. In online co-op, someone will go down to Floppa lasers, a wall climber, or a late-wave pack. A revive keeps the coin tree and the turret line on the same wave. A wipe sends everyone back to planning.

Play Medic if you queue with people you can hear, or if the 18-player server is silent and nobody else took the role. One Medic is the plan. Two is backup. Five Medics and no range is how a lobby looks busy and still loses the base.

Medic is less important in true solo because you cannot revive yourself out of a failed wave. You can still run it if you like the kit; just do not expect the S-tier group letter to apply. Pair Medic with the same weapon order as everyone else: melee opener, range for high waves, armor before wave 50.

Ninja — the grind class people mention

Public comments talk about Ninja the way they talk about a class they keep on: wave counts, not a single boss clip. That is why the fan list treats Ninja as a grind class. It is a personal kit for players who already understand coins versus Gold and who will sit in Invasion for a long stretch, including toward wave badges.

Ninja does not replace Medic in a disorganized 18-stack. Buy it when you mainly solo or when your group already has revive covered. Buy it after codes so Gold is not coming out of a dry account. Do not buy it to skip snowball upgrades.

If you main Ninja, your failure mode is still the same as the default role: standing in the pack with melee after the merchant has already offered a coin boost. Class identity is not splash damage.

Alchemist — day-7 daily reward

Alchemist is login-gated. Community answers to how do I get Alchemist are consistent: claim dailies for seven days, and the seventh reward is the class. Comments also say you should not panic about a perfect streak the way some other Roblox dailies work; the practical advice is to click the daily every day you already opened the game.

Start the counter on the same day you redeem codes. Alchemist is not a week-one Gold dump. It is a calendar unlock. If you only play Golden Weekend, you will not see it unless those seven claims already happened.

We do not invent potion recipes or hidden Alchemist subclasses. After you unlock it, test the live kit on a throwaway Invasion run before you take it onto a badge attempt. If the class text in the lobby disagrees with an old video, trust the lobby.

When to switch

Switch in the lobby, not as a panic during Floppa.

  • Switch to Medic when your usual queue has downs and nobody else revives.
  • Switch to Ninja when you are the one grinding waves and revive is covered or irrelevant.
  • Switch to Alchemist after day 7, on a run that is allowed to fail.
  • Stay on the default combat role while Gold is empty and the daily is still counting.

A week that works: dailies every login, Medic on group nights, Ninja on solo badge nights, Alchemist once it exists. That is a rotation, not a personality.

Gold, AFK ZONE, and class shopping

Gold is meta. You can earn it in Invasion, speed it with Double Gold and Golden Weekend, idle it in the AFK ZONE, and claim it from codes. Spend it on a class that matches the lobby you will join this week, not on a class for a hypothetical 18-player tryhard stack you do not have.

If you are deciding between Ninja now and waiting for Alchemist, look at your calendar. Seven dailies are free. Ninja is a Gold cost. Many players should do both: start the daily immediately, buy Ninja only if they already group less than they grind.

Pairing classes with weapons and armor

Every class uses the same coin economy. Read weapons and upgrades and tick the upgrade planner. Armor breakpoints do not change because you are Medic: leather, chain mail around 500, knight around 1000, brick wall around 1750, roughly 3000 at wave 50.

The class tier list is the short letter version of this page. Come back here when you need the why. Come back to the unlock guide when a friend asks how Alchemist exists and you do not want to type day 7 in chat for the fifth time.

The only class mistake that cannot be patched with a better sword is taking the wrong role into the wrong lobby. A solo Ninja with range and armor is a plan. A six-player stack with no Medic is a coin donation to Floppa. Equip for the server you joined, then let the daily counter run in the background so Alchemist is waiting when the grind gets old.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, classes, and bosses.

What classes are in Cat Invasion?

This wiki documents Medic, Ninja, and Alchemist, plus a default combat role with no extra name. Unlock steps are on the class unlock guide.

Which class should I buy first?

Medic if you group. Ninja if you mainly grind solo. Start the Alchemist daily either way. Fan letters are on the class tier list.

Does Alchemist cost Gold?

Public comments treat it as the day-7 daily reward, not a Gold shop impulse. Claim the daily for seven days.

Can I change class during a wave?

Plan class in the lobby. Invasion is a run. Switching as a panic during Floppa is not the public approach.

Do classes change weapon upgrades?

No. Coins still buy melee then range. See weapons and upgrades.

Is there a secret fourth class I should hunt?

Not on this wiki. We do not invent names. If OneBed Studio ships a new named class, it will get a real section.
