Cat Invasion Perks

The official slogan is real. A named perk table is not. Buy potions, classes, and dailies instead.

Perks

Cat Invasion (also listed as Cat Invaders) still tells you to power up your perks to progress further. That slogan is official. A published list of named perks is not. This page is the honest loadout writeup: we document the power-up layers you can actually click in the live lobby and during Invasion, and we refuse to invent Crit, Lifesteal, Cat Magnet, or any other talent row because a thumbnail needed a grid.

If you searched for Cat Invasion perks, you are in the right place. If you wanted ten named talents with fake percentages, you are not. The closest sourced layers are merchant potions, class abilities, and daily rewards. Weapon upgrades are a coin tree, not a perk tree; they live on weapons and upgrades and on the upgrade planner. Pause shopping itself is a how to play skill, not a hidden perk rank.

What we can source

OneBed Studio has not posted an official named perk list on the Roblox experience, the group wall, or a public board. This game has no Trello. Comment sections and video overlays that print a perk grid are fan fiction until the lobby shows the same names.

The layers we can document without guessing:

  • Merchant potions during a run: coin boost and damage.
  • Class abilities in the lobby: Medic revive, Ninja as the grind kit people keep equipped, Alchemist on the day-7 daily.
  • Daily rewards that tick toward Alchemist and whatever else the live calendar actually shows.
  • The official slogan itself, which means spend the currency the shop asks for. It is not a license to name rows the shop does not show.

Gold is the meta wallet. Coins are the in-run wallet. Mixing those two is how players treat a potion like a class, or a class like a pause-shop click. Codes such as 19MVISITS and 900KMEMBERS (250 Gold each while they stay on the official description) fill Gold. They do not unlock a secret perk board.

Merchant potions — the in-run perk layer

During Invasion, the merchant is the only perk-shaped click you buy with coins. Public spend orders name two potions that actually matter:

  • Coin boost. Buy it the moment it appears. Coins fund range, armor, walls, turrets, and later potions. Skipping a coin boost to look at tuna is the most expensive joke in the run.
  • Damage potions. Save them for named cats, especially Floppa around wave 50. Tutorials that beat the first boss keep at least a couple of damage buys instead of drinking everything at wave 12.

Those potions are not a talent tree. They do not persist after a wipe. They do not unlock Medic. They sit next to food (fish, tuna, hearts) on the pause shop. Pause the wave, buy the boost or the damage flask, unpause. If you shop while cats are already on the wood, you do not have a perk problem. You have a pause problem.

A coin boost is the perk that pays for every later perk-shaped click. A damage potion is the perk that makes Floppa lasers a fight instead of a donation. Neither one is named Glass Cannon III on an official board, because that board does not exist. Tick the same order on the upgrade planner so the flasks land next to range and the 3000-armor buy instead of next to a vanity melee skin.

Class abilities — the named perk layer

The closest named perks in Cat Invasion are class kits. This wiki only documents three:

  • Medic — revive. That is the group perk. In online co-op (solo or a server of up to 18) someone will go down to lasers or a climber. Revive keeps the coin tree on the same wave.
  • Ninja — the grind class people mention when they stay in Invasion for a long stretch. It is a personal kit, not splash damage and not a Floppa skip.
  • Alchemist — the day-7 daily reward. It is a calendar unlock, not a Gold impulse and not a potion recipe we will invent.

Everyone else starts on a default combat role. We do not invent a fourth class name and then call it a perk. Unlock steps sit on the class unlock guide. Fan letters sit on the tier list. Role details sit on the classes page.

Switch class in the lobby. Do not treat class as a mid-wave perk you can panic-buy while Floppa is charging. A Medic who never pauses still loses the wooden base. A Ninja with no range still eats the first named cat. Class identity does not replace the coin order on weapons and upgrades. Read how to play if pause, aim assist, and coins-versus-Gold are still fuzzy; those systems are how any class actually spends a perk-shaped advantage.

Daily rewards

Dailies are the quiet perk calendar. Claim them on the same login you redeem codes so the seven-day Alchemist counter is actually moving. Missing a day to sit in the AFK ZONE is how people delay the only class with a published gate.

We do not invent the other six daily gifts as named perks. If the live lobby shows Gold, a cosmetic, or a consumable on day 3, trust the lobby. This page will not print a fake seven-row table that will be wrong next patch.

Daily rewards help the next lobby. They do not patch a hole you ignored for ten waves. They do not double coins. They do not place turrets. They do not replace merchant coin boost. Start the chain anyway: Alchemist is free time, and time is the one resource a fake perk video cannot sell you.

What people confuse with perks

Several real systems get mislabeled as perks in comments:

  • Weapons and armor. Sword, pillow, baguette, tuna, snowball-to-rock, bow, laser cannon, and the armor breakpoints (leather, chain mail around 500, knight around 1000, brick wall around 1750, about 3000 at wave 50) are coin upgrades.
  • Gamepasses. Plasma Armor 79, Double Coins 119, VIP 149, Double Gold 149, and +3 Turret Limit 119 are Robux. They speed wallets and convenience. They are not a perk tree.
  • Codes. Milestone strings dump Gold. That is a wallet fill, not a talent unlock.
  • Golden Weekend. x2 Gold is an event tile, not a perk rank.

If a video titles itself best perks and then shows Double Coins, it is talking about a pass. If it shows snowball, it is talking about a weapon. Use the right page. The tier list ranks classes and weapons as fans play them; it is not an official perk ranking either.

Fake perk tables

You will see grids. They will have made-up names, made-up costs, and made-up percentages. Typical tells:

  • A numbered talent tree copied from another Roblox tower-defense.
  • S-tier perk letters attached to names this wiki cannot find in the lobby.
  • A Discord invite that claims the real list lives behind a bot. This wiki does not publish Discord invites.
  • A Trello. There is no public Trello for Cat Invasion.

Do not spend Gold, Robux, or a whole evening chasing those rows. If OneBed Studio later ships a named perk board, this page should gain a sourced section, not a rumor. Until then, the honest list is potions, classes, and dailies.

A progress order that does not need a fake tree

  1. Redeem live codes so Gold exists.
  2. Start the daily so Alchemist is counting. Steps are on the class unlock guide.
  3. Enter Invasion. Pause. Buy merchant coin boost when it appears.
  4. Follow the upgrade planner: melee until about 200 coins, then range, then about 3000 armor before Floppa.
  5. Keep damage potions for named cats instead of drinking them as soon as the merchant restocks.
  6. Equip Medic if you group, Ninja if you grind, Alchemist after day 7, default combat role until then. Confirm the job on classes.
  7. Ignore any overlay that needs ten invented perk names to explain a wipe.

That order is how you actually power up. The slogan is a prompt to spend the right currency on the right shelf. It is not a scavenger hunt.

A perk in this Roblox wave-defense is whatever the merchant, the class rack, or the daily already shows you. Coin boost pays for the rest of the run. Damage potions pay for Floppa. Medic pays for a downed teammate. The seven-day login pays for Alchemist. Everything else with a dramatic talent name is a thumbnail. Close the fake table, pause the wave, and buy the flask that is actually in the shop.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, classes, and bosses.

What perks are in Cat Invasion?

There is no official named perk list. The sourced layers are merchant coin-boost and damage potions, class abilities (Medic revive, Ninja, Alchemist), and daily rewards.

Does the game say to power up perks?

Yes. Official copy still says to power up your perks to progress further. That slogan is not a published talent table. Spend the currency the live shop asks for.

Are merchant potions the same as perks?

They are the in-run layer this wiki can document. Buy coin boost on sight and save damage potions for named cats. The upgrade planner puts those flasks in the coin order.

Do classes count as perks?

They are the closest named layer. Medic revives, Ninja is the grind kit people mention, Alchemist is the day-7 daily. Unlock steps are on the class unlock guide.

Should I trust a Cat Invasion perk tier list?

Not if it invents names. Fan letters for real kits live on the tier list. Fake Crit or Lifesteal grids are overlays, not lobby data.

Do I need a perk tree before I play?

No. Pause, buy range, and learn how to play first. Perks in the slogan sense are potions, a class, and the daily counter, not a hidden board.
