Cat Invasion Upgrade Planner

Coin spend order from current tutorials, then Gold: codes first, class second, skip weak kits.

Upgrade Planner

This planner is a markdown checklist for Cat Invasion coin and Gold spends. It is not a calculator and it does not click the shop for you. Pause the wave, buy the next line, resume. Coins are the in-run wallet. Gold is the meta wallet. Mixing them is how new players buy a class with the money that should have been a snowball.

The coin order below comes from current high-wave tutorials: melee only until about 200, swap to snowball/range, grab a merchant coin boost, keep upgrading range, buy 3000 armor around wave 50, then walls and builders when the wood starts to fail. If a community auto upgrade script promises to do this, it often will not. Cheapest-first melee is the usual failure.

Coin spend order (tick in a run)

  • Play melee only until you hold about 200 coins. Do not drip 50-coin vanity swings into extra melee tiers.
  • Pause the wave. Buy snowball / range. Solo players should swap here even if melee still feels fine; later packs punish standing in the doorway.
  • Watch the merchant. If a coin boost is on sale, buy it immediately. Coins are the whole upgrade engine. A missed boost is a missed range tier later.
  • Bank toward the next range click. Common early steps after the swap are about 250, then about 550. Keep pausing to upgrade range instead of mixing in armor or walls yet.
  • Stay on range. Area damage from an upgraded snowball or gun lets you stand off the spawn and delete cats before they touch wood.
  • Around wave 50, pause and buy 3000 armor before Floppa commits. This is the first named-cat check. Bring the armor, then dodge; do not try to tank Floppa in starter leather.
  • After Floppa, resume range upgrades until the gun feels finished for this run.
  • Add walls / builders when cats actually chip the base. Early wall spends are a leak if range already spawn-kills the pack.
  • Slot food / potions for the next boss, not as a default every-wave buy. Save a stack for wave 100 and later named cats.
  • If the merchant restocks a coin-related offer, prefer it over a cosmetic melee skin.

Pause is part of the plan. Cat Invasion lets you stop a wave to open the shop. Buying while a pack is on the stairs is how you misclick melee. In co-op, one player should call the pause so six people do not all buy walls at once.

What not to buy early

  • Extra melee after ~200 coins.
  • Tiny armor tiers that delay the 3000 breakpoint.
  • Walls while cats still die in the spawn kill zone.
  • Food upgrades that empty the pile before Floppa.
  • Turrets you cannot cover, unless you already own the +3 Turret Limit pass and have a real turret plan.

Gamepasses are Robux, not coins: Plasma Armor 79, Double Coins 119, VIP 149, Double Gold 149, +3 Turret Limit 119. Double Coins speeds this planner; it does not change the order. Plasma Armor is a paid armor shortcut, not a replacement for the 3000 coin click if you still need that tier. VIP and Double Gold affect meta income and perks, not the in-run sequence.

Gold spend order (between runs)

  • Redeem both live codes on working Cat Invasion codes: 19MVISITS and 900KMEMBERS, 250 Gold each. That is 500 Gold you do not farm. Use the how to redeem steps if the right-side lobby button is new to you.
  • Sit on the Gold until you know the class. Open the class tier list and pick a kit you will actually queue. Medic is the group revive pick. Alchemist is a daily-login unlock, so do not spend Gold on it if you can wait.
  • Buy one class you will play for the next badge push. Do not window-shop three weak kits because they were on the Gold shop row.
  • After the class is set, keep remaining Gold for the next meta unlock you have already ranked. Random Gold shop clicks are how 500 codes-Gold disappears.
  • During Golden Weekend (x2 Gold), play more, spend the same way. The event doubles Gold from play; it does not make a weak class good.

Dumping Gold into a weak class is the expensive mistake this planner exists to stop. Coins can be re-earned next invasion. Gold sits on the account until you click. Read the class tier list twice if the shop is glowing.

Pair this planner with a wave target

Coin order without a wave goal still leaks. Tick the next badge on the wave checklist. For a first serious run, the target is Floppa around wave 50, then the wave 100 route. Boss execution is on beat Floppa and beat later bosses. This page only tells you what to buy so those fights are possible.

New accounts should also skim getting started so lobby buttons, pause-to-upgrade, and the Codes control are not a surprise. Scripts that auto-buy this list are documented as cheats on the scripts hub, not as part of the planner.

Play on Cat Invasion. Studio news is on the OneBed Studio group.

Revisit this order after you unlock a new class. The coin ladder stays; the Gold dump does not.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, classes, and bosses.

When do I stop upgrading melee?

Around 200 coins. Pause, buy snowball or range, then keep range as the main coin sink until armor at wave 50.

When do I buy the 3000 armor?

Around wave 50, before Floppa. It is a named-cat breakpoint, not an early-wave luxury. See beat Floppa.

Should I buy walls first?

No. Buy walls when cats actually damage the wood. Range that spawn-kills the pack is a better early spend.

What should I spend Gold on first?

Redeem working codes first, then one class from the class tier list. Do not spread 500 Gold across weak kits.

Do Double Coins or Double Gold change this order?

They speed income. Coin order stays melee-to-range-to-armor. Double Gold does not fix a bad class buy.

Is this planner a live tool?

No. It is a markdown checklist. Tick the boxes in a second tab or on paper while you pause the wave.
