Class Tier List

This class ranking covers the three named roles we can document without inventing extras: Medic, Ninja, and Alchemist. Everyone else starts in a default combat role that can still hold a sword or a snowball. We do not name that starter kit as a fourth class, because public pages and the lobby do not treat it as a unique unlock.

This is a fan list based on public runs, tutorial comments, and how revives actually change a wipe. It is not an official OneBed Studio ranking. For how each role feels in a run, read the classes page. For unlock steps, use the class unlock guide.

S — Medic in groups

Medic is S whenever more than one player can go down. The named job is revive. In a 6 to 18 player Invasion lobby, someone will eat a Floppa laser, a late-wave leap, or a pack that climbed the wooden wall. A revive turns that into a pause and a potion instead of a full reset of the coin tree.

Medic is not automatically S in true solo. You cannot revive yourself out of a wipe, so the letter drops to A for a one-player grind unless you simply like the kit. If your friends queue together, one Medic is enough; two is insurance, not a requirement.

Spend Gold on Medic before cosmetics if your usual lobby is messy. A group that already has a dedicated Medic can skip this row and buy Ninja or wait for Alchemist.

A — Ninja as a grind class

Community comments treat Ninja as the class people keep equipped while they push waves, not a boss-only swap. Reports of mid and high waves with Ninja show up next to range upgrade advice, which is the real pairing: Ninja plus snowball-to-rock, not Ninja plus a baguette forever.

We put Ninja in A rather than S because it does not change the wipe rule the way Medic does. It is a strong personal kit for players who already understand pause-to-upgrade. If you are still dying before wave 25, Ninja will not fix coin order. Read the weapon tier list first.

Buy Ninja when you already clear early waves on the starter combat role and you want a named class for long AFK-adjacent grinds and badge hunting. Do not buy it as a substitute for armor at wave 50.

A — Alchemist, login-gated

Alchemist is the day-7 daily reward. Public comments are consistent: claim the daily for seven days, no streak panic, and the seventh claim is the class. That gate is why Alchemist is A for value and C if you expected to buy it with tonight’s Gold.

The rank assumes you will keep logging in. If you play one weekend and vanish, Alchemist is not part of your week-one plan. If you already play Cat Invasion most days, start the daily counter immediately so the class is waiting when your range tree is online.

We do not invent potion tables or extra subclass names. Treat Alchemist as a delayed unlock that is worth finishing the daily, then confirm the live kit in the lobby after day 7. Details and common mistakes sit on the unlock guide.

B and C — when a named class is the wrong spend

B: running the default combat role after you already own Medic. You can still clear waves. You are just leaving revive on the table in groups.

C: spending Gold on a class swap before you redeem codes, before you understand coins versus Gold, and before you have a range plan. Class is a multiplier on a spend order, not a replacement for one.

C in groups: three people buying the same grind class and nobody taking Medic. Public wipes at Floppa are often a laser plus no revive, not a missing fashion melee.

How lobby size changes the letters

LobbyFirst class goalWhy
SoloNinja or wait for AlchemistRevive has no target; grind kit and dailies matter more
Duo or trioOne Medic, others grindOne revive covers the pack
6 to 18At least one MedicNamed bosses and wall climbers create downs

Servers hold up to 18. A full lobby is louder, not automatically stronger. If nobody called Medic in chat, be the person who does.

Gold, dailies, and when to switch

Gold is the meta currency. Coins are in-run. Classes are a Gold or daily decision, not a coin dump between waves. Switch in the lobby, then commit for the run. Mid-run identity swaps are not the public plan.

A practical week:

  1. Redeem codes on the codes hub.
  2. Start the daily counter toward Alchemist even if you still fight on the starter role.
  3. If you group queue, buy Medic with Gold before Ninja.
  4. If you solo badge hunt, Ninja can come first.
  5. After day 7, try Alchemist on a non-badge run so you learn the kit before a wave-100 attempt.

Pair any class with the upgrade planner. The class letter does not tell you whether to buy chain mail at 500 or skip brick wall.

Reading this next to weapons

The weapon tier list is the other half of the same decision. Medic plus late melee still stands in Floppa lasers. Ninja plus early range is the comment-section grind. Alchemist plus a skipped daily is just a missing row.

Armor still follows the public breakpoints: leather, chain mail around 500, knight around 1000, brick wall around 1750, and about 3000 armor when wave 50 is close. Class does not replace that schedule.

If a patch changes revive range, daily rewards, or Gold prices, this page should move letters. Until then, pick Medic for groups, treat Ninja as the grind class people actually mention, and let Alchemist arrive on day 7 instead of inventing a shortcut.

The last check before you queue is not which letter looks nicest. It is whether your lobby already has a revive, whether your daily counter is running, and whether your first 200 coins are still going into melee on purpose. If those three are true, the class tier has done its job.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, classes, and bosses.

Which Cat Invasion class is S-tier?

Medic is S in groups because it revives. In true solo, Ninja or waiting on Alchemist is the more honest plan. See the classes page for role details.

How do I unlock Alchemist?

Claim the daily reward for seven days. Public comments say there is no streak wipe. Full steps are on the unlock guide.

Is Ninja better than Medic?

For a one-player grind, often yes. For a full lobby, no. Ninja is the community grind class; Medic is the wipe insurance.

Should I invent or wait for other class names?

No. This wiki only ranks Medic, Ninja, and Alchemist. The starter combat role is enough until one of those three is unlocked.

Do I need a class before wave 50?

No. Floppa is mostly armor, range, and potions. A class helps, but coin order on the weapon tier list matters first.

Is this ranking official?

No. It is a fan list from public runs. OneBed Studio has not published class tiers.
